Quick question. Why me!? Why? Why was I plagued with such a caring personality?

"Hey wait! C'mon! What are you doing? You plannin' to walk out here so late? Are you crazy or something!?" My pleas went unanswered, obviously not surprising either. "You listening to me? You can't just go running off on your own. Dammit! Girl!"

This is going to be a lot more complicated then I thought.

"What do you want from me!? Just mind your own business and leave me alone!" She screamed a few yards in front of me.

"Can you please just stop for a minute?"

God this girl runs fast.

I finally caught up to her and grabbed her by the arm, to stop her. She jolts back and swings at me. Misses. Thank god. "Will you let go of me!? Leave me alone!"

"Uh no? Question. Do you run track or something? 'Cause you're pretty damn fast, ya know?" I started laughing. Don't ask why. I don't really know. Maybe to deter her from taking another shot at me. She jerked away from my grip, but she didn't start running again. Good sign.

"There's nothing wrong with me, so stop chasing me and let me go!" She stared straight at me. It was dark but I could see her clearly.

"Why would you be crying and running around at three in the morning if there's nothing wrong?" I tried to sound nicer about it. I didn't want to be rude.

"Look, I don't even know you. So why would you even care about me? You don't know anything about me."

"Well now, it's more because I don't want to turn on the news tomorrow and hear:

Crazy chick goes missing after being chased by a strange guy from a diner, at 3am.

"I don't think that goes well in my favor, okay?"

She just kind of stood there. Now that she was standing still, I could actually see how cute she was. I was sure this wasn't the time to start hitting on her with cheap pick-up lines, so let's skip that.

She was wearing a tank top and a fairly short skirt above her knees. Still conservative, but pretty cute anyway. Like the hot Liberian look, haha. Anyway, her little outfit didn't exactly couple well with the pre-winter weather. Probably somewhere around fifty degrees. Once again, I didn't want to be rude. So against my own comfort, I offered her my sweat shirt.

"Hey, it's cold. Take my sweat shirt if you're plannin' to stay out here." I decided to just not bug her about her obvious distressed appearance. Luckily she took my jacket. Another thing I didn't need to be guilty over. Letting "crazy" freeze.

We sat on a curb sixty yards or so from the diner. She was so quiet. So I broke the ice, so to speak.

"So what's your name?" I said those four little words like a teacher says to a little kindergartener on their first day of school.

"Um…Autumn….and thanks for the jacket."

She was blushing. Why was she blushing?

I went to shake her hand. "Cool, I'm Tye. Nice to, formally, meet you." My geeky grin made her giggle for some reason. Heh, that was kinda cute to.

"Ah, so you do smile."

Her smile rapidly turned into anger.

Here we go again…

WAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!

This is going to be a long night, for sure.
Autumn's kinda aggressive, isn't she? The suspense slowly unfolds.. O.O
